About Andy Byng
Andy Byng is an internationally respected medium and teacher, known for his depth, integrity, and commitment to helping students develop their mediumship in a grounded and spiritually meaningful way. With over 20 years of experience, Andy has taught at many of the world’s leading mediumship institutions and has served as a tutor and course organiser at the Arthur Findlay College for many years. With academic degrees in philosophy, religion, and ethics, Andy brings a rare blend of intellectual depth and spiritual understanding to his teaching. His work is rooted in the belief that mediumship is not just a skill to be learned, but a natural expression of the soul—one that can only truly flourish through self-awareness, spiritual unfoldment, and dedicated practice. Students value Andy’s honest and insightful guidance, his ability to identify and nurture their potential, and his deep respect for both the spirit world and the development journey itself. You’ll work with the same small group of students throughout the year, creating continuity and trust. This allows Andy to guide the entire group forward together without revisiting the basics every time someone new joins. More importantly, Andy gets to know you individually—your strengths, your needs, and how to help you unlock what’s within. Each part of the program is carefully designed to develop your mediumship from the inside out—combining spiritual unfoldment, theoretical understanding, and technical refinement. You’ll also receive lifetime access to the recordings of every session, so you can revisit the teachings as often as you like, and continue learning well beyond the live experience.
Program Overview
Andy will guide you through a comprehensive 12-month program featuring over 90 sessions, designed to take you on a journey of self-discovery, spiritual unfoldment, and practical mediumistic training. 📅 4-Day Online Seminars
You’ll attend three 4-day online seminars throughout the year. Each seminar is focused on robust practical work and personal feedback. Group size is limited to 14 students, allowing Andy to work individually with each person. Seminar Dates: Jan 30 - Feb 2, 2026 | May 1 - 4, 2026 | September 11 - 14, 2026 Times: 12PM – 7PM EST via Zoom.
🎓 Online Tutorials
Over the course of the year, you'll receive eight online lectures, each exploring a key concept in mediumship. These sessions deepen your understanding of your work and support your spiritual philosophy.
🔁 Monthly Practice Circles
Held twice a month, these 1-hour sessions allow you to practise key exercises in a supportive space. Andy will be present to offer support and guidance. Sessions rotate between 2PM and 7PM ET to accommodate all time zones. You’ll also be invited to two extended 4-hour practice days (August & December 2026) focused on deepening the practical work.
🧘 Meditation & Spiritual Experience Sessions
Once a month, Andy will guide you through a meditation or spiritual exercise to help you build a deeper relationship with your own power and with the spirit world. (60 minutes)
🌱 Personal Development Sessions
These monthly sessions are designed to help you grow as a person as well as a medium. Andy will deliver a short talk and guide you through a personal development exercise focused on self-exploration and transformation. (90 minutes)
🤝 1:1 Office Hours
You’ll have the option to book a 20-minute private session with Andy each month to discuss your development, work through personal challenges, and receive tailored guidance.
🌐 The Mediumship Practice Centre
As a member of the Progressive Group, you'll gain access to a private Facebook group of current and former students who train under Andy. This community gives you a platform to arrange practice sessions, stay inspired, and continue developing between meetings.
🎁 Free Bonus Course
As part of the program, you’ll be able to join one of Andy’s 5-week online specialty courses in 2026 completely free of charge. Students who pay in full will receive access to an additional bonus course.
📜 Certificate of Completion
Once you’ve completed all session recordings and course components on Thinkific, you’ll receive a Certificate of Completion to celebrate your progress and commitment over the year.
